How Much Does Clipster Pay? What a $0.03 Blended CPM Means for Clippers
By Mark Walnut, Senior Analyst at FindClout. Figures checked against advertise.clipster.gg on September 27, 2026, and against our August 2026 Clipster review where noted.
Clipster pays clippers a set rate per 1 million verified views, and that rate is chosen campaign by campaign. The examples Clipster has published range from $300 per million views on a CS2 skins promo to $2,000 per million on an EDITS campaign, which is $0.30 to $2.00 per 1,000 views. The number Clipster puts in front of brands, a "$0.03" blended effective CPM, is something else entirely: an average across every view on the network, most of which, as the math below shows, were never paid at a campaign rate. This page explains the gap, because it is the key to estimating what your own clips will earn. We run a competing network, FindClout, and say so up front.
Short answer: On a campaign paying $300 per million, a 250,000-view clip earns $75. On one paying $2,000 per million, the same clip earns $500. Clipster's $0.03 blended CPM ($30 per million) is a brand-side average, not your rate. Our August 2026 review recorded no follower minimum, a claimed 2 to 3 week payout window, and $5M+ paid to creators across 134B+ views.

Why the $0.03 Blended CPM Is Not Your Rate
A blended effective CPM divides what brands spend by every view the network counts. It is a brand-facing efficiency number. Clipster's own case examples show how low it can go: a "$5K test budget" that produced "100M+ views" works out to $50 per million, or $0.05 per 1,000.
Now put that next to the clipper side. If a campaign pays clippers $300 per million and the brand's blended cost is $30 per million, the brand is paying one tenth of the clipper rate per counted view. Both can be true only if most counted views were never paid at the campaign rate. Counted views can include views past a per-post cap, views on clips that were rejected or never submitted, and views that accrued after a campaign closed, none of which are paid at the campaign rate.
The arithmetic on Clipster's own totals
Take the two cumulative figures recorded in August 2026: $5M+ paid to creators and 134B+ views generated.
- $5,000,000 divided by 134 billion views is about $37 per million views, or $0.037 per 1,000. That is the average paid per counted view, and it lines up with the $0.03 blended headline.
- At the low published campaign rate of $300 per million, $5M pays for about 16.7 billion views, roughly 12% of 134B.
- At the high published rate of $2,000 per million, $5M pays for about 2.5 billion views, roughly 2% of 134B.
Whatever the actual mix of campaigns, the implication is that somewhere between about 2% and 12% of the views Clipster counts were paid at a campaign rate, if all payouts went out at published rates. The rest were counted but not paid for at those rates. Both totals are self-reported and "+" figures, so treat this as an order-of-magnitude reading rather than an audit. For a clipper, the practical lesson is that the views you get paid on can be a fraction of the views your clip does.
Worked Math: What One Clip Earns
| Clip views | At $300 per 1M (CS2 skins example) | At $2,000 per 1M (EDITS example) | At the $0.03 blended CPM (for comparison only) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50,000 | $15 | $100 | $1.50 |
| 250,000 | $75 | $500 | $7.50 |
| 1,000,000 | $300 | $2,000 | $30 |
| 5,000,000 | $1,500* | $10,000* | $150 |
*Before any per-post cap. Clipster's campaign rules decide how much of a very large clip is paid, so read the cap in each brief before assuming the 5M row.
The spread between the two published campaigns is almost 7x. Two clippers who each post a 250,000-view clip the same week can take home $75 or $500 depending only on which campaign they picked. The EDITS-style campaign pays more because it asks for more editing skill; the skins promo is a volume play.
Sound promos sit below both. Clipster's page lists a brand-side starting rate of $130 per million views for sound promos. The clipper share of that is not published, but it cannot be more than $130 per million, which is $0.13 per 1,000 views.
How Payouts Work
From our August 2026 review: you sign up through the Clipster app with no follower minimum, pick a live campaign, post to your own account, link the account and submit a tracking link. Clipster attributes verified views and queues a payout, with a claimed window of 2 to 3 weeks. Clipster's public pages do not detail payout rails at the same depth as its rate examples, so confirm withdrawal methods and minimums inside the app before your first campaign.
Requirements and Campaign Types
There is no follower minimum, which makes Clipster one of the easiest networks to start on. The same openness is why the network is large (100,000+ creators) and why many clippers compete for each brief. Clipster's advertise page groups its work into sound promos, logo placements, geo-targeted campaigns and enterprise volume, and its case examples lean heavily on iGaming and music: it cites 5.5B impressions a month for its largest iGaming client and 13B+ views across music campaigns. If you clip gaming or casino content, you will find the most volume there.
How It Compares to Vyro
People often compare Clipster's $0.03 with Vyro's "$3 CPM" and conclude Vyro pays 100 times more. That compares a network-wide brand average with a campaign rate. The fair comparison is campaign to campaign: Clipster's published examples run $0.30 to $2.00 per 1,000 views, and the Vyro listings we checked in August and September 2026 ran $1.00 to $2.00 per 1,000 (the $3 figure comes from 2025 press, not vyro.com). The ranges overlap. Vyro tends to anchor on large creators' back catalogs, and Clipster on gaming, casino and music promos. What Reviewers Report
Clipster's Trustpilot page had 121 reviews when we pulled it in August 2026: 65% five-star and 26% one-star. Among the negative reviews, a recurring complaint is accounts flagged for "irregular views" or suspended for suspected viewbotting as the balance neared withdrawal, with appeals described as templated. Clipster does not publish its detection method beyond "AI and human moderation," so clippers cannot check in advance what triggers a flag. That does not make Clipster a scam; it is a real, operating network with a majority of positive reviews. It does mean you should keep screenshots of your analytics for every submitted clip. Our is Clipster legit review quotes the reviews with dates.

Apply as a CreatorA Different Model for Established Pages
Clipster, like most open networks, is built for volume: anyone can join, and the brand's blended cost stays low because much of what is counted is not paid. FindClout works the other way round for a narrower group. It is a network of roughly 15,000 vetted creators and pages, it rejects about 19 of 20 applicants, and it requires hundreds of thousands of followers and a 40% US-audience floor, verified by connecting the Instagram account directly. Brands pay for verified views only, and each post has a payout cap so a post that goes mega-viral does not become a runaway bill for the brand. Creators apply to campaigns without knowing the brand until they are accepted.
If you are starting from zero, Clipster's open door is the easier on-ramp. If you already run a big page with an American audience, a vetted network is worth an application. For more on Clipster itself, see our Clipster review, Clipster pricing for brands and Clipster alternatives.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Clipster pay per 1,000 views?
It depends on the campaign. Clipster's published examples range from $300 per million views (a CS2 skins promo) to $2,000 per million (an EDITS campaign), which is $0.30 to $2.00 per 1,000 views. The $0.03 blended CPM on its advertise page is a brand-side network average, not a clipper rate.
Does Clipster pay per view?
Yes, per verified view, quoted as a rate per 1 million views on each campaign. You post a clip to your own account, link the account, submit a tracking link, and Clipster attributes the verified views. Campaign rules, including any per-post cap, decide how much of a very large clip is paid.
Does Clipster have a follower minimum?
No follower minimum was listed when we reviewed Clipster in August 2026. Anyone can sign up through the app and pick a live campaign. That openness is also why the network reports 100,000+ creators and why many clippers compete on each brief.
Are Clipster reviews good?
Mixed but mostly positive. In August 2026 its Trustpilot page showed 121 reviews, 65% five-star and 26% one-star. A recurring theme in the negative reviews is accounts flagged for irregular views or suspended near withdrawal, with templated appeal replies. Clipster does not publish its detection method, so keep screenshots of your analytics.
Does Clipster track X views?
Clipster's advertise page lists Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X as of September 27, 2026. Whether a specific campaign accepts X posts is set in that campaign's brief, so check before you post there.
How long does Clipster take to pay?
Clipster's claimed payout window, as recorded in our August 2026 review, is 2 to 3 weeks from view attribution to payment. Confirm withdrawal methods and minimums in the app, since the public pages do not detail them.
